Fact-Checking Policy

Exam-related misinformation costs students real money and real opportunities — a wrong date means a missed application. This policy describes the checks every article passes before it is published.

What we verify

• Dates — application windows, exam dates, admit card and result dates are matched against the official notification.
• Eligibility — age limits, qualifications and relaxations are quoted from the official document, not summarised from memory.
• Vacancies and fees — checked against the notification PDF, including any subsequent corrigendum.
• Syllabus and pattern — verified against the current official syllabus, not a previous year's.

Sources we accept

Official commission, board and ministry websites; official notification and corrigendum PDFs; official press releases. We do not treat screenshots, WhatsApp forwards, YouTube claims or aggregator sites as sources.

When information changes

Exam authorities extend deadlines and issue corrigenda often. Articles about active notifications are re-checked when a change is announced, and the article is updated rather than left stale.
